About The House
Welcome to The Scrap Nest, a scrabooking, crafting retreat located in beautiful Massanutten Resort.
The Scrap Nest is a relaxing, luxury retreat for 10 guests to come spend time scrapbooking, stamping, quilting or any other type of crafting. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 and 1/2 bathrooms with all bed and bath linens provided. High speed wireless internet is available throughout the house.
The Great Room
Features 20’ high wooden cathedral ceiling, exposed beams and hand-scraped hickory floor. Genuine leather seating surrounds a large, stone, remote-activated gas fireplace. Roku TV provides access to over 220 channels on the 46" flat screen HDTV. A wide selection of DVDs are offered for watching on the BlueRay player.
The Dining Area
Features a custom built 12’ long farmhouse table made from century-old reclaimed white oak. The table seats all 10 guests comfortably, enabling everyone to enjoy meals together.
Kitchen
Features an open-beamed wood ceiling, rustic hickory cabinets and granite countertops with a tile backsplash. Well lit and fully equipped, the kitchen has ample cookware and utensils to support a large group. The all-new appliances include a smooth top range, side by side refrigerator, Keurig machine, large countertop toaster oven, crock-pot, blender and other small appliances.
The Mountain Room
It is an enclosed porch that can be enjoyed year round. Relax here with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and enjoy the view. On days with nice weather, open the windows, turn on the ceiling fan and enjoy the fresh mountain breeze. There is also another refrigerator located here in addition to the main refrigerator in the kitchen.
The Upper Back Deck
Like being in your own private treehouse. It features a gas grill and picnic table for "dining out".
The Lower Back Deck
Take a break from crafting and relax in the hammock or "swing" your worries away.
